Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Izzy’s Playground collects when you create a portrait or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Pet photos you upload — used to generate, refine, save, and fulfill your portrait order.
• Pet details you provide (name, type, personality notes).
• Generated portraits and order media — portrait versions, saved designs, print-ready files, mockups, review photos, and related customer media.
• Account information — your email and a hashed password if you create an account.
• Order information — items, shipping address, and order status.
• Payment information — processed by our secure payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic usage data — performance and usage measurements to keep the site fast and understand how it is used.

Analytics and measurement

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure which pages, links, and campaigns bring visitors to the site and how the portrait-creation flow is used. If you consent, we also store first-party attribution details (for example, which campaign link you arrived from) and pseudonymous identifiers such as a GA client ID and session ID, and we may associate them with an order you place. Pseudonymous identifiers are not anonymous — they can distinguish your browser over time, which is why we ask first.

Until you choose “Accept” in the privacy banner, analytics storage stays disabled and GA4 does not load. If you choose “Reject”, it stays off. Choosing “Accept” enables analytics measurement only: advertising storage, ad user-data sharing, and ad personalization remain disabled either way. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Privacy choices” control in the corner of any page. Measurement events never include your pet photos, pet names, uploaded files, prompts, or generated portraits.

How we use it

• To generate your portrait and let you refine it.
• To fulfill, ship, and support your orders.
• To send transactional messages (order confirmations, password resets).
• To improve the product and prevent abuse.
• To feature Izzy’s Playground work in site examples, social posts, email, and advertising, using customer media and reviews as allowed by our Terms and any review consent you provide.

Who we share it with

We share only what’s needed with the providers that run the service:

• Payment processing — to securely complete charges and refunds.
• Made-to-order production and shipping — to print, pack, and ship your apparel.
• AI image generation — to generate the portrait from your photo.
• Transactional email delivery — to send order, shipping, and account messages.
• Hosting and analytics — to keep the site available, fast, and measurable.
• Error monitoring — to detect issues and operational alerts.

We do not sell your personal information, pet photos, generated portraits, review photos, or customer media to third parties.

Data retention

Original pet photos you upload, generated portraits, saved designs, cart/order media, print-ready files, mockups, review photos, and related customer media may be retained while needed to operate Izzy’s Playground, fulfill and support orders, maintain account and accounting records, improve the product, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and create or run Izzy’s Playground marketing and advertising.

If you submit a review with photo-sharing or marketing permission, we may keep and display that review, first name, pet name, photo, generated portrait, and related order media in public examples, social posts, email, and ads. We may also retain customer media under the content license in our Terms. We will not use customer media for unlawful or abusive purposes and we do not sell it.

We keep your account, design, and order records while your account is active and as needed to fulfill orders, support customers, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. We will review verified requests and delete or de-identify eligible records, unless we need to keep limited information for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, security, backup, or already-published marketing record reasons.

Your choices

• Access, correct, or delete your account data — contact us and we’ll help.
• Opt out of non-essential cookies via your browser settings.
• Depending on your state or country, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us and we’ll respond to applicable requests.

Children’s privacy

Izzy’s Playground is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as needed.
